大学注册主任概述
The 大学教务处 models the highest standards of the registrar profession in providing exemplary service to the University community and constituents while ensuring accuracy, integrity, 以及学术记录的保密. Technology plays a critical role in providing contemporary services to the University community. Collaborating closely with the Office of Information Technology and a host of vendor partners, the Registrar team designs innovative services and solutions for faculty, staff, advisors, 和学生. Examples of success include early implementation of pronouns and preferred names for students, 定制教师和咨询中心, a new OHIO Guarantee+ 毕业 Plan system, and tailored reports and integrations for multiple University constituents.
The 大学教务处 consists of 29 employees: 19 administrative and 10 classified bargaining unit staff, plus numerous student employees working in five distinct units (Administration; 学位审核; Operations, 包括学习成绩, 专门报告, 目录产品 和项目管理, 及注册商服务; 科技与通讯; and 退伍军人中心). The 大学教务处 reports to the Vice President for Enrollment Management.

The 学习成绩 unit has responsibility for ensuring integrity and confidentiality of student academic records, 监督毕业程序, coordinating athletic eligibility process, coordinating grade reporting processes and academic progress, verifying enrollment and degree conferral, 处理记录, and reporting enrollment and graduation data to the National Student Clearinghouse, compliance with University policies and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
The 专门报告 unit provides data to support the operational needs of the academic units. The data obtained are for internal use only as most data are confidential and protected under FERPA.

The unit is also responsible for the following: processing all name, SSN, and address changes; and overseeing hold processing.
